A Jump Desktop alternative if you only need Windows → Mac

Jump Desktop is a mature remote desktop app for many platforms. If your only need is to open a Mac from a Windows PC on the same network, RDPyon takes a narrower route: you install one app on the Mac and use the Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc) that already ships with Windows.

When Jump Desktop is the better choice

You connect from phones or tablets, across the internet without a VPN, or manage many machines for a team. RDPyon needs the same network or a VPN, allows one viewer at a time, and sends one screen at a time.

When RDPyon fits

You already use Windows, you don't want to install another client there, and you want a one-time price.

What works today

Text and image clipboard both ways · Mac audio forwarding (macOS 13+, off by default) · choose which Mac monitor to send · no install on Windows. File copy is not guaranteed yet. Connecting while the Mac is at the login window or right after restart may fail.
